Homemade Sausage Patties

In a large bowl, mix thoroughly together:

      2 pounds ground pork
      4 tablespoon brown sugar
      1 Tablespoon dried rubbed sage
      2 teaspoons salt
      1 teaspoon ground black pepper
      1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
      1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
      1/4 teaspoon ground cloves


Shape into breakfast sized patties.

Fry in a medium hot skillet until brown on both sides and done

Or, shape them into hamburger size patties, grill them, and serve on Kaiser rolls with your favorite toppings!
